Van Jones was chosen to be Barack Obama’s Green Jobs Czar. At the time, the Obama Administration was thrilled to have him in such a critical post. Barack’s top advisor Valerie Jarrett described him at the Daily Kos’ blogger convention: “You guys know Van Jones…we were so delighted to be able to recruit him into the White House. We were watching him…for as long as he’s been active out in Oakland…and all of the creative ideas he has…and now we’ve captured that…and we all that energy in the White House.” And the crowd went wild.
So, according to the top advisor in the Obama Administration, they had their eye of Van Jones for a long time. They were familiar with his work. Let’s take a closer look at this mysterious person and see why the White House wanted him so badly?
Where to start? Where to start? Okay…Van Jones is a self-avowed Communist. While a student at Yale Law School in 1992, he was sent to San Fransisco to serve as a legal observer during the Rodney King trial. He describes that time in his life: “I met all these young radical people of color – I mean really radical, communists and anarchists. And it was, like, ‘this is what I need to be a part of… I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary…I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th, and then the verdicts came down on April 29th..By August, I was a communist.” From there, Van founded the radical, communist group Standing Together to Organize a Radial Movement (STORM). STORM was involved in protesting the first Iraq War, anti-police activity, unemployment rights, and working with mainstream communist groups like the Communist Party USA.
Sadly, STORM disbanded in 2005, but that didn’t stop Jones. He was just getting started. He continued his work as a radical, leftist community organizer. He went on record as saying that 9-11 was an inside job and that George W. Bush caused 9-11 in order to start a second war in Iraq. He actually signed a petition to launch an investigation of the Bush Administration’s involvement in 9-11. He then called all Republicans “A_ _ _ oles” and said that “white polluters and white environmentalists are essentially steering poison into the people of color’s community.” In a bizarre rant, he declared that: “you’ve never seen a Columbine done by a black child.” In his free time, he enjoyed anti-police protests and organizing support for the Philadelphia cop killer: Mumia Abu Jamal.
Don’t get me wrong, Jones isn’t just a talented radical, communist, racist organizer. He is also a musician. Check out these rap lyrics from his album cut in 2003: “the true terrorists are made in the U.S. This police state. The U.S. is a crack-fiend for oil and they’re ready to rape, kill, assault, rob anybody.” Catchy isn’t it? All of this would just be funny if Jones wasn’t well-funded and well-connected.
So well-connected that he was appointed by the President of the United States to head his Green Jobs initiative and put in charge of hundreds of millions of tax payer dollars.
So what went wrong? Well, the State Run Media did their part. They didn’t mention a thing about Van Jones’ radical past. In fact, they didn’t run one story about him at all. It was almost as if he didn’t exist. That is until Glen Beck, Fox News, Michelle Malkin and the rest of those concerned with the truth caught wind of his appointment and started digging into his past. Once the details were made public, there was such an outcry that the Administration began to back away from him. The pressure mounted and Van Jones was forced to resign.
This put the Administration and the State Run Media in a tight spot. How could Barack explain the appointment? Jones was so obviously a racist, communist, America-hating radical. How could he be given a budget and a mandate by the White House? The State Run Media had to explain why they were now reporting the resignation of a radical, communist, racist when they never bothered to report the appointment of the very same radical, communist, racist. What a mess.
So how did the Obama Administration explain Van Jones? They simply said that he wasn’t vetted properly and that they didn’t know about his radical past. Wait a second. Didn’t the New York Times report that this administration had a seven page, 63 question survey that every position hopeful had to fill out and didn’t Valerie Jarrett say they had been watching Van Jones ever since he started his work in Oakland? Yes and yes.
The entire sordid Van Jones saga provides much insight into the Obama Administration and their real agenda. Here are two such insights:
One: everyone knows that Green Jobs are utter non-sense. A Green Job is a Political Job and is designed to funnel money to left-wing groups like unions, environmental groups and leftist community organizations. Van Jones knew this and said as much in his book: “Green Collar Economy”. The real agenda behind the Green movement is to Socialize America. Every good communist knows this. The Obama Administration is sitting on billions in Stimulus money and they want people like Van Jones doling it out to radical groups and programs in the name of environmentalism.
Two: Barack Obama knew exactly who Van Jones was. That is why he appointed him. Valerie Jarrett admitted as much. When it all hit the fan, Robert Gibbs, Barack’s spokesman, backed away from Jones and lied. It should now be clear. All of Barack Obama’s past associations are with radical leftists. Barack is using the Czar appointments to get these radical, leftists into positions of power within his administration. The State Run Media has gotten the message and done their part by refusing to report who these people really are, just like they did during the election with Barack. Without vigilant independent news sources exposing these radicals and their agendas, hundreds of millions of dollars of our money will be spent buying votes, building infrastructure, undermining our great institutions and radically altering our way of life.
We stopped Van Jones, but now is not the time to celebrate. There are many more like him. Let’s stay vigilant and protect our great Constitution from those who wish it harm.
