Where were we…ah yes. In Parts 1 and 2, we looked at some little known scientific facts about our climate and the not-so-shocking evidence proving the theory of man-caused global warming is nothing more than an elaborate hoax; “the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people”: according to Senator James Inhofe. Now, it's time to wrap up this sordid mess by exposing the co-conspirators and their sinister motives. These are the people behind the Great Global Warming hoax.
Radical Environmentalists:
Some time ago, the modern Environmental movement was hijacked by Marxist radicals with one goal in mind: destroy capitalism. What started as a common-sense movement to end pollution and conserve the earth's natural beauty has transformed into an assault on industrial civilization. Perhaps the best example of this is Maurice Strong, the godfather of the international environmental movement. After making hundreds of millions in the oil business, Strong networked his way into powerful government appointments and, from there, became the author of many global environmental policies. Strong is Marxist to the core. Consider this quote from the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro: “Isn't the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about?” or this one from his interview with WEST magazine: “what if a small group of these world leaders were to conclude that the principal risk to the earth comes from the actions of the rich countries? And if the world is to survive, those rich countries would have to sign an agreement reducing their impact on the environment.” Two years later, Strong gave the world the Kyoto Protocol which establishes an objective of reducing greenhouse gases that cause Global Warming. How did that work out for the countries that signed on to the protocol? Well, Japan, Italy and Spain face fines of as much as $33 billion for failing to reduce emissions as promised. According to the U.S. Energy Agency, if the United States were to sign-on to this treaty it would have devastating consequences and cost the American economy $400 billion per year with electricity rates raised 86%, heating oil costs raised 76% and each U.S. Household spending an extra $1740 per year on energy. The Kyoto protocol is destroying Europe's economy. Maurice Strong doesn't care: “economic growth is not the cure, it is the disease.” As you sit here and read this right now, the United States House of Representatives has passed a “Cap and Trade” bill which is nothing more than an American version of the Kyoto protocol. It will cap emissions for US businesses and force them to pay fines and purchase credits that will ultimately bankrupt many of them; putting Americans out of work and drastically increasing the price of energy, goods and services for all Americans. This Bill passed the House. The hoax that man is causing Global Warming is the ammunition behind these radical anti-capitalist assaults. Their goal is to use the environment, and it's potential murder to destroy capitalism and redistribute wealth from the prosperous to the corrupt. Without the threat of Global Warming though, it all stops.
Politicians
Of course, Maurice Strong cannot accomplish anything without ambitious, greedy, power-hungry politicians like Al Gore. He signed up with the radical environmentalists a long time ago and became the political face of man-caused global warming. As reward for pushing forth the political agenda and legitimizing the hoax, Gore has received adulation, celebrity, the Nobel Peace Prize, an Academy Award and over one hundred million dollars in paid appearance fees and investment windfalls from businesses that benefit from the hoax. Other politicians caught on. They've received campaign donations, grass roots support and votes from radical environmentalists and their minions. Under the guise of “saving the environment” they have sold their souls for money, votes, celebrity and power. Without the threat of global warming though, it all stops.
Scientists
In Part 2, we looked at the smoking gun emails that exposed the corrupt scientists behind this hoax. Perhaps nothing is sadder than the revelation that scientists worldwide simply made up the science behind global warming. It should shake everyone's faith in the discipline. This quote from the father of the theory says it all: “If anything, I would like to see the climate change happen, so the science could be proved right, regardless of the consequences." The climate change that he warned us about for years isn't happening, but he wishes it was, regardless of the consequences, so he can be proved right. Do you see the irony in this? The Scientists behind global warming are frauds. Their theory is based on corrupt computer modeling. They received millions in grants, speaking fees, and book sales. They became celebrities. Without global warming though, it all stops.
The Media
The media has promoted the threat of man-caused global warming for ratings and money. Let's face it, disasters sell papers and commercials. According to the media, from 1900-2000, there were 4 separate climate disasters threatening the world: first it was too cold, then it was too hot, then it was too cold again, and now: surprise, surprise, it's too hot. The media loves global warming. After all, it has meant big ratings for the networks and their ad sponsors, and that means money. Without global warming though, it all stops.
Corporations
Corporations like General Electric have figured out how to profit from Global Warming. You just manufacture the “green” products that the Government mandates. An anonymous GE executive explains: “On climate change we were able to work closely with key authors of the Waxman-Markey climate and energy bill, recently passed by the House of Representatives. If this bill is enacted into law it would benefit many GE businesses.” There is a new game in corporate America. Give money and publicity to politicians and their causes, and then get the same politicians to mandate the purchase of your products, all in the name of saving the planet. Without Global Warming though, it all stops.
Conclusion
These are the co-conspirators that conceived of, validated, supported and profited from the hoax that is man-caused global warming. By far, the greatest, most expensive hoax in the history of the world. If we don't stand up and reject the taxes, fines, regulation and control that this hoax has and will continue to spawn, we will all suffer the consequences. I will close the same way that Christopher Lord Monkton closed the Second International Conference on Climate Change in New York City last March: “There is no climate crisis. There was no climate crisis. There will be no climate crisis.”
