There is not an Obama supporter out there that can rationally make the case that Barack Obama is qualified to be President. Disagree? Let's take a closer look. He was the president of the Harvard Law Review and a Law Professor and yet his name does not appear on any legal scholarship. He was then Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a well funded charitable organization dedicated to education reform. In the only executive position he ever held, he doled out over $100,000,000 in grants. So, what visible good came out of this money. None. Oh...unless you are ACORN or a radical, leftist community organizer and a domestic terrorist. You see. Bill Ayers was in charge of setting the education policy for the Annenberg Challenge and most of this money was granted to his leftist agenda.
From there, Barack Obama was elected to the State Senate of Illinois. Highlights of his career in the State Senate include writing letters to help Tony Rezko secure $14 million in state grants to build his real estate empire (Tony Rezko is now in jail), trying to get comprehensive sex education for kindergarteners, voting present instead of yes or no 129 times, and of course, his voting against protecting live babies from being left to die after botched abortions.
From there, Barack was elected to the United States Senate. He only won because his opponent was forced to drop out of the election after his divorce records were mysteriously made public and revealed an embarrassing indiscretion. Barack was a United States Senator for only 134 days before he announced his candidacy for the presidency. During this time, Barack managed to become the group's most liberal member according to the National Journal. To be fair, with the likes of Hillary Clinton and John Kerry around, this is probably his greatest accomplishment to date. It took hard work, but his votes against extending the Bush tax cuts, against drilling for our own oil in Alaska, against repealing the death tax, against funding our troops in battle, against extending our terrorist wiretapping program and against banning partial birth abortion put him over the top.
If you still think Barack's qualifed, consider this: his own running mate doesn't. During the primary, Joe Biden said on national television that Barack Obama is “not ready to be President”. Then yesterday, Biden said this: “Mark my words, it will not be 6 months before the world tests Barack Obama. Watch. We're going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy, and he's going to need help...; because its not going to be apparent initially; its not going to be apparent that we're right.” Wow. Two questions arise from this quote. 1. Does Joe Biden make you feel comfortable about an Obama presidency? 2. How could Barack Obama choose this bafoon to be his Vice President?
ACORN
The radical activist group ACORN has been in the news a lot lately. First because they played a major role in creating and sustaining this mortgage mess, and second, because they are being investigated by the F.B.I in 13 states for blatant voter registration fraud. What does this have to do with Barack? Well, Barack has had a longstanding relationship with the well funded radical group.
In his pre-law school days, Barack Obama was community organizer. The head of ACORN at the time, Madeleine Talbot, was so impressed with his skills that she asked him to help train her staff. He did. In 1995, as an attorney, Barack Obama represented ACORN in a suit against the state of Illinois.
As a board member of two charitable foundations, Barack directed funds to ACORN. As an Illinois State Senator, Barack had meetings with ACORN and his legislation contained many ACORN-friendly provisions. Flash forward to the current Presidential campaign. Just last week, I watched homeless people testify that they received cigarettes and dollar bills from ACORN members in exchange for vote registration signatures. In just Ohio, over 200,000 voter registrations have been declared suspicious and are being investigated. By the way, all of these registrations are Democrat. The FBI has undertaken a massive investigation of ACORN for its alleged voter registration fraud, and its about time, ACORN has been trying to steal elections for years. It has also been proven that Barack Obama's campaign paid out $800,000 to an off-shoot of ACORN, Citizens Services, Inc for get-out-the-vote services. This is important because originally, the Obama campaign “mistakenly” reported these services as “polling, advance work and staging major events”; however, upon further review, they have been ordered to re-report these services as voter registration services. I wonder why Barack Obama would try to hide that he paid ACORN to help him get out the vote when they are under investigation for voter-registration fraud.
Well, there you have it. A few more things we know about Barack Obama. Never has a candidate with such a socialist, radical past ever made it as close to the White House. Many of his follower's don't care about facts. They are content to mindlessly walk off the cliff. I just hope they don't drag all of us down with them.
